Thank you for visiting The French Market website. The following are the Terms and Conditions for the use of this website and the purchase of products. Use of this website constitutes your agreement to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
SUPPLY
Each of our gifts/hampers on our website will have a corresponding photo and product description. In the event of supply disruptions, The French Market reserves the right to substitute some of the products featured in the gift photo if the original product is out of stock or has a long lead time for delivery. In this case we select a suitable replacement of the same value and quality (or higher) than the original item.
All contents have been fairly described and photographic props are not included unless stated.
Some products in our food hampers contain nuts, egg, milk and other allergens. Please let us know of any dietary restrictions and if a product needs to be replaced or removed.
Items containing alcohol can only be ordered by and delivered to persons aged 18 and over.
DELIVERY
We will do our utmost to dispatch orders within 48 hours of receipt (on week days only). Deliveries will take place on Monday to Friday only. There are no deliveries on a Sunday or Bank Holidays. Please note that delivery times may be longer during Christmas and Easter.
Our wine gifts, hampers and baskets are delivered by An Post, by courier or our own delivery vans. All items are carefully packaged and parceled and sealed with tape before they leave our warehouse. If an item has been damaged in transit please contact us by email to info@thefrenchmarket.ie. and we will investigate. Photos of your damaged item is an advantage.
The French Market does not accept any responsibility for any loss, damage, delay or other disruption in supply and deliveries brought about as a result of inaccurate or incomplete delivery address details. Please provide the correct name, address and Eircode for the delivery. If possible, please include a contact phone number for the recipient of the parcel. This will only be used should the driver need to contact the recipient if they have difficulty locating the correct house or if there is no-one home and if an alternative arrangement can be made.
Late Delivery and Non-Arrival – Please get in touch with us immediately if your parcel has not arrived on the date communicated. We will get in touch with the courier company and follow up.
ORDERING
All goods remain the property of The French Market until they have been paid for in full.
We accept all major credit/debit cards.
All transactions are processed in EUR. Depending on your location, card providers may charge an extra fee as a foreign transaction fee.
We do our best to ensure that your parcel is delivered on your requested delivery date. On occasion we are affected by issues beyond our control such as bad weather and road conditions (Storms), Global Pandemic and Stock issues from suppliers. Should there be a delay to the delivery of your order we will contact you to inform you as soon as possible.
These conditions, and all acts of the business The French Market, its proprietor and its employees shall be governed and construed in every way in accordance with the Laws of the Republic of Ireland.
